I`d like to show you this great song called "Nur ein Wort". I like it because the melodie is very simple but the content takes you to think about your relationship to God and yourself. I heard and sang it fpr the first time when we had a prep meeting for the protestant Churchdays in Bremen. We sang it out of the Songbook for the Churchdays.

Wise Guys

Do you know the Wise Guys?
I don`t think you know something about them till now.
The Wise Guys are Germany`s most popular A-capella Band which founded in 1985. The Wise Guys are a group out of 5 members: Dän, Eddi, Nils, Ferenc and Sari.
They call their style "vocal- Pop", means mouthmade Popmusic without any instruments. They write their german songs by themselves or they cover english songs in German.
Their latest Album called "Frei" appeard at the 29.1.2010 and since there it is in the Top 100 of the Albumcharts.

I heard them in Bremen at the "Kirchentag 2009" live for the first time and it was really amazing! They are singer and performer and actor at the same time. It was really funny and entertaining.
The first song I registrated was "Jetzt ist Sommer", maybe you know it:

Lied zur Jahreslosung 2010

So, jetzt kommt auch einmal ein Post in Deutsch :)
Wie jedes jahr gibt es dieses Jahr auch wieder eine Jahreslosung, die lautet: "Jesus Christus spricht: Euer Herz erschrecke nicht, glaubt an Gott und glaubt an mich".


Zu diesem wunderschönen Spruch gibt es auch ein Lied. Der LAKI-PopChor singt es einmal vor und Hans-Joachim Eißler erklärt, was man beim Proben und Aufführen seines Musikstückes beachten sollte.

This song is one of my favourite songs from the book "Feiert Jesus 3"

I like that song not just because it is so beautiful, but i like it because it offers the love to Jesus and God and why you can thank him and what good things he does to and in us.

A new law

The Federal Court of Justice has acquitted an advocate who did active Euthanasia to a patient who was in a vegetative state for five years. This means that the ending of essential treatments are no longer illegal if the patient wrote it into their decree (compare from N24.de).

I think this a huge change in law, because now killing a man if he told it so at his decree is legal. So now if you write this decree and you have a accident and you`re in a vegetative state, your family can decide weather they want you to live or not. With this you give them a huge responsability over your live.



I think it is a good decision because I would do this decree, because I think about me. If I have a big accident and I`m in a vegetative state for a long time and I can`t comunicate or if I have no views to get better, I would rather die than beeing a burden to my family. I wouldn`t like to see them sad when they visit me or even see them cry and can`t console them, this would break my heart.




What is your opinion about it? Do you think it`s the right decision by the Federal Court of Justice or do you think they did wrong?

Sunday lessons

As you maybe already know am I one of 3 leader of the Suday Lessons in my cumune. I thought I´m going to tell you something about what we`re doing at the Sunday Lessons and what we want to reach with them.
First of all i`m talking about what we want to reach with our work: The Sunday Lessons goal is to convey values for their lives. The background of these values are the christian believe like he`s conveyd by the Bible through the protestant church. We`d like to give them access to the believe to God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. We want to teach the kids that they can tell their thoughts openly and that we take them serious.Also we want the Sunday Lessons not to be dry and without fun, so we sing christian songs with them and tell them storys about Jesus and other persons in the Old and New Testament.
But where do we know which story we could tell?
Thats very simply. There is a booklet for leaders called "Evangelische Kinderkirche, Zeitschrift für Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter im Kindergottesdienst" which appears quarterly.

At the last page of this booklet there is a table of contents which shows, which story we can tell at which date. This coming sunday f.e. the story of Ruth can be narrated.
But how do we decide which songs we can sing?
At this booklet there are suggestions which songs we could sing, which prays we could pray and suggestions for the story, I mean how we could tell them to the kids. It´s very helpful to us because at many stories it`s hard to find the fitting sons and prays.
But Sunday Lessons are more than just singing and praying. We also want the kids to feel comfortable and want to show them how good it feels like to be in a comunity. So we decorate our Altar with care and settle the chairs circular so that every one can see the other.

What about the songs? To show you which songs our kids like, i did do a list of the most loved songs:

Fatal-4-Way

So guys, i have the latest Wrestling Event for you. It`s a new Pay-Per-View Event called "Fatal -4 -Way" wich was an air yesterday (20.6.2010), where Wrestling Superstars from the Raw and Smack down raster were competing. Like always there were amazing matches between the Superstars. But this time the ending is not very amusing. The mainevent, the WWE Champion Titel match got inerrupted by the formal NXT Roockies, wich are casted upcoming Wrestlingstars trained by WWE Pro`s. Because of this interruption and the attac by the NXT Roockies at John Cena, Sheamus took advantage and became the WWE Champion. So here are the whole matches and the winner:

1. WWE-Championship-Titel-Fatal 4-Way-Match between John Cena ( WWE Champion), Randy Orton, Edge, Sheamus , winner: Sheamus
2. World -Heavyweight -Championship Fatal- 4 -Way- Match between Jack Swagger( WHC), Rey Mysterio, CM Punk, The Bigshow ,winner: Rey Mysterio
3. US-Champion The Miz vs. R-Truth , winner: The Miz
4. Diven-Champion-Titel-Fatal-4-Way-Match between: Eve Torres, Gayl Kim, Maries, Alicia Fox, winner: Alicia Fox
5. Intercontinental Championship Match: The Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston vs. Drew McIntyre, winner: Kofi Kingston
6. The Unified Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty & Natalya defended The Usos & Tamina
7. Evan Bourne defends Chris Jericho

My favourits were, especially John Cena, i really like him :) , Rey Mysterio, R-Truth, Kofi Kingston, The Hard Dynastie and Evan Bourne. And most of them actually won which makes me happy :D

Germany`s fail in soccer

What a match!
After the win against Australia Germany was sure to win again against Serbia --> but we all thought wrong. Germany lost 0:1! What a shame! But like many others i also think that it was because of the referee, he was too fussy! How many yellow cards did he give? 9 because of well fouls and a red- yellow one against Miroslav Klose because of a foul. In my opinion another yellow would have been enough... But what i also might say is that Germany have had many chances to score, like the penalty which misplayed Schweinsteiger, but they didn`t use them.
Never mind, we`ll win the next match and become Worldchampion!

Wrestlemania - THE mainevent of the year.

Wrestlemania - the dream of all WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) Pro`s.

Wrestlemania is the mainevent of the year in the whole WWE Universe. It is also a professional Wrestling pay-per-view event, produced annually in late March or early April by the World Wrestling Enterntainment (WWE) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WrestleMania) .

This year Wrestlemania 26 took place in Glendale/Phoenix, Arizona, USA.
Millions of people all over the world watched this huge event. This Wrestlemania build momentum! A career got ended and a long wished for match took place, but more later.

Like I said before a career got ended and I think you`ll ask whose. It`s Shawn Michaels one. He lost in the match with the phenom The Undertaker and so he had to leave the WWE Universe.
The long wished for match I`m talking about was the match between Bret Hard and Mister Vince McMahon (WWE owner). Bret Hard was waiting for 12 years for this match. Mister McMahon and Bret Hard had several fights in the past and Bret Hard often got humiliated by Mister McMahon, but more details you´ll find at the official WWE Homepage.

I watched Wrestlemania 26 and all I can say is: It was awesome!!!
